Designed for groups of 10-50 individuals, Fungry (i.e., food and hungry) workshops preserve the region’s traditional meals and local products. These workshops quality is upgraded by collaborating with professional chefs who instruct participants on preparing sustainable traditional meals. Since the workshops are season-based, participants can opt for preparing appetizers such as traditional South Serbian seasonal salads, wood mushroom and vegetable soup, traditional bread, as well as handmade filo pastry pies. Main courses include sarma with cabbage, kale, or wine leaves, stuffed dry peppers, and southern barbecue, alongside traditional desserts like vanilice and pivčići. Magi Magarija
Magi Magarija Donkey and Rare Breeds Farm is located near Dimitrovgrad in the Serbia-Bulgaria cross-border region. The dairy farm, founded in 2005 and renowned for its autochthonous donkey breeds as well as other endangered species husbandry, offers an authentic experience of meeting these native species in the scenic mountain area. The interactive Whisper of Wine augmented reality application supports eco-friendly tourism by mapping and promoting local wineries in the Serbia-Bulgaria cross-border region.
